01

Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and GalliGo LLC ("GalliGo," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the GalliGo iPhone application, galligo.app, and related services (together, the "Service"). These Terms apply when you access or use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use GalliGo for an organization or another person, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.

You must be legally permitted to use the Service where you live. GalliGo is not directed to children under 13, and a child under 13 may not create or use an account. If local law sets a higher minimum age or requires additional consent, that rule applies.

02

The Service

GalliGo helps people discover, save, recommend, organize, log, and remember places through trusted relationships and personal context. Features may include profiles, friends and invitations, recommendations and replies, saved places, travel logs, lists, trips, shared photos and notes, homes and local favorites, maps, notifications, and shared experiences. GalliGo is not a routing, reservation, transit-estimation, or scheduling service.

Some features may be experimental, limited, changed, paused, or unavailable while GalliGo prepares for and continues launch. A feature description is not a promise that the feature will always exist or work in a particular way.

03

Accounts

You agree to provide accurate information, keep it reasonably current, and maintain control of the phone number or other sign-in method associated with your account. You are responsible for activity under your account except to the extent caused by GalliGo’s failure to use reasonable security.

  • Do not share one-time codes, authentication tokens, or account access.
  • Do not create an account for another person without authority.
  • Notify us at support@galligo.app if you believe an account has been compromised.
  • You may not sell, rent, transfer, or sublicense an account.
04

Your content

"User Content" means content you submit or create through the Service, including profile information, notes, recommendations, replies, reviews, lists, trip information, captions, photos, invitations, and shared-experience information.

You retain ownership

You retain ownership of your original User Content. You are responsible for it and represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it, including permission from identifiable people where required. Do not upload confidential material, private information about another person, or an image you do not have the right to use.

Limited license to operate GalliGo

You grant GalliGo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, and technically modify your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service; apply the visibility and collaboration choices you make; and provide the content to intended recipients and service providers. Technical modifications may include resizing an image, formatting text, creating previews, or making backups.

This license ends when your User Content is deleted from active systems, except for reasonable backup cycles, legally required safety or compliance retention, and content another person independently owns. GalliGo does not retain your contributions merely to preserve another member’s copy when applicable law or platform rules require their deletion. Nothing in these Terms gives GalliGo ownership of your User Content.

Feedback

If you voluntarily send product ideas or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation. Do not send feedback you consider confidential.

05

Sharing and privacy

GalliGo features have different audiences. Current service permissions allow basic profile and review records to be read broadly through the Service, not only by your circle. Notes may have circle-sharing controls in the app and new log notes may default to circle sharing, but that interface control does not currently guarantee that the underlying review record is inaccessible through every service interface. Trips, shared experiences, recommendations, and invitations are shown according to their feature rules and the people involved. Accepted friends may be able to read stored home-location details, including exact coordinates.

Uploaded trip photos, home photos, collection covers, and avatars are stored at publicly retrievable file URLs. Access to listing or modifying those files is restricted, but anyone who obtains a direct URL may be able to view the file. Do not upload sensitive media that should never be publicly retrievable, and remember that selected photos may contain embedded metadata.

Recipients can save, screenshot, repeat, or share information outside GalliGo. We cannot control what another person does after receiving content you chose to share. Use visibility settings thoughtfully and review the Privacy Policy’s visibility section.

06

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • break the law, facilitate harm, or violate another person’s rights;
  • harass, threaten, exploit, stalk, shame, or discriminate against anyone;
  • create or distribute sexual exploitation material, especially involving minors;
  • impersonate a person or organization, misrepresent affiliation, or create deceptive accounts;
  • post content that is defamatory, unlawfully hateful, invasive of privacy, or knowingly dangerous;
  • upload malware, interfere with security, probe vulnerabilities, evade access controls, or disrupt the Service;
  • scrape, harvest, index, or bulk-collect profiles, contacts, locations, invitations, recommendations, or other Service data without written permission;
  • spam, manipulate recommendations, misuse invite links, or automate access in an abusive way;
  • infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights;
  • reverse engineer or extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
  • use GalliGo to build, train, or enrich a competing dataset, model, or service without written permission.

You may share honest opinions and negative experiences, but do not present guesses as facts or knowingly publish false allegations. Recommendations should reflect genuine context rather than paid or undisclosed manipulation.

07

Moderation, reports, and safety

GalliGo may review, restrict, remove, preserve, or disclose content; limit feature access; suspend accounts; or take other proportionate action when we reasonably believe it is necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people or the Service, investigate a report, or comply with law. We are not required to monitor every item before it appears.

To report abusive, unlawful, unsafe, or rights-infringing content or conduct, email support@galligo.app with the account or content involved, what happened, and any relevant context. Do not include passwords or one-time codes. We may ask for more information, preserve evidence, and notify affected users where appropriate.

Emergencies: GalliGo is not an emergency service and does not monitor reports continuously. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

08

Place and travel information

GalliGo combines User Content with information from mapping, imagery, and place-data providers. Places close, hours and prices change, routes become unsafe, accessibility varies, and recommendations are personal opinions. GalliGo does not guarantee that a place, route, activity, or recommendation is accurate, open, lawful, available, accessible, appropriate, or safe.

  • Verify important information with the venue, government, transit operator, or another authoritative source.
  • Use judgment and follow local laws, health guidance, weather advisories, travel warnings, and property rules.
  • Do not rely on GalliGo for navigation in hazardous conditions or for medical, legal, financial, security, or emergency advice.
  • You remain responsible for reservations, transportation, permissions, costs, insurance, and real-world decisions.
09

Third-party services and content

The Service may use or link to third-party platforms and content, including Apple, Supabase, Google Maps Platform, MapLibre, MapTiler, OpenStreetMap, Unsplash, DiceBear, FlagCDN, HubSpot, and other providers. Their products, data, terms, licenses, and privacy practices are their responsibility. GalliGo does not control third-party availability or accuracy.

Map, place, and image content may be subject to provider attribution and use restrictions. You may not remove attribution, copy provider data in violation of its license, or use third-party content outside the Service unless the provider permits it.

Following a link or opening directions may take you outside GalliGo. Your activity there is governed by that third party’s terms and policies.

10

GalliGo ownership and license

GalliGo LLC and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, branding, compilation, and original content, excluding User Content and third-party materials. "GalliGo," the GalliGo wordmark, and related branding may not be used without written permission.

Subject to these Terms, GalliGo grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended consumer purpose. No other right is granted by implication.

11

Availability and changes

We may add, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue a feature for product, security, legal, operational, or business reasons. We aim to communicate material changes when reasonable, but urgent security or legal changes may occur without advance notice.

The Service may experience interruptions, errors, data delays, or loss. Keep independent copies of content that is important to you. GalliGo is not a permanent archival or backup service.

12

Suspension, termination, and account deletion

You may stop using GalliGo at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated personal information, follow the process described in the Privacy Policy or email support@galligo.app.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, misuse the Service, or if required by law. When reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to respond, unless doing so could increase harm, compromise an investigation, or violate law.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, content licenses needed for ordinary backup cycles or legally required retention, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—will survive.

13

Disclaimers and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your local consumer law may give you rights in addition to these Terms.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." GalliGo disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, preservation of every item, or the accuracy or safety of User Content and third-party place information.

To the extent permitted by law, GalliGo LLC and its members, employees, contractors, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, opportunities, goodwill, or data; or harm arising from another user, a third-party service, or a real-world place or activity. This limitation applies only to the extent allowed by applicable law and does not limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

14

Apple and the iOS app

These are GalliGo’s Terms of Service. Unless GalliGo separately provides a custom end-user license agreement through Apple, your license to the iOS app is also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with Apple’s Standard EULA on an issue governing the app license, the applicable Apple term controls for that issue.

Apple is not responsible for operating or supporting GalliGo. Support questions should be directed to GalliGo LLC at support@galligo.app.

15

Changes, interpretation, and contact

We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will post the revised Terms here and update the effective date. If a change materially reduces your rights or adds a significant new obligation, we will provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, except where law requires a different form of consent.

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply and the unenforceable part will be interpreted as narrowly as needed to make it valid. A failure to enforce a term once is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written permission; GalliGo may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or asset transfer, subject to applicable law.

Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it. These Terms do not require arbitration, waive a class action right, or select a foreign forum. Any dispute remains subject to applicable law and any nonwaivable consumer rights.
